Loreal "Super Liner Carbon Gloss"

Girls- I don't know about you, but me and liquid line DO NOT get on.

I have never really nailed the art of applying liquid liner, the steady hand, the precision of drawing a straight line on my eyelid, without flinching, or having the patience to let it dry therefore having it smudged when i blink.

However, I have found myself a product which means most of the above doesn't have to apply......

This is the Loreal "Super Liner Carbon Gloss" in the shade Carbon Black. I bought this in Boots for £6.49 (Boots often have special offers on Loreal such as double points, 3 for 2 etc, so more than likely got it in an offer) HERE is the link.

This is the most easiest liquid liner I have used. The best way to describe it is that its like a felt tip. When using it you feel like you are in control of the application and glides on so smoothly and easily. This means you can easily also create different looks (flick, cat eye etc)

The colour is a lovely bold black and it lasts all day. I find with most liquid eyeliners they fade really easily, and can look grey on the eye but I haven't had this problem with this one.

The downside I think it is rather pricey for what you get (if you purchase not on an offer). For £6.49 for a tiny tube of product! (i tried to look for the amount but its not stated on the packaging) However, for me its not so bad as I only really wear it out at night so can last me a good few months.

Any recommendations for others similar?

February Favourites

Hello Beauties,

Here is what I have been loving during the month of February....

Ok so from left to right we have....

1. YSL Parisienne Perfume-  Alien by Thierry Mulger is normally my go to perfume for nights out, but I ran out (sob sob). After Christmas, in the sales I bought the YSL Parisienne Perfume Gift Set. It cost me £25, and in it I got a 50ml Eau De Parfum, a shower gel + body lotion. This perfume has quickly become my 2nd favourite. I love the bottle, it gives it a really elegant + classy feel. The fragrance is elegant girly with a sophisticated twist.

2. Lee Stafford "Hair Growth" Shampoo + Conditioner"- My mission by the summer is to have long, tousled mermaid/beach like hair. This is definitely helping me to achieve that! I picked these up in Boots for £6.99 each. I have only been using these for a couple of weeks but can already notice the difference in my hair. I can tell it has grown, but not only that my hair feels in better condition and is so much healthier. I have laid off the heat products too, I'm letting my hair dry naturally at the moment so not sure if that is helping too? However I really recommend these two.

3. Boots Extracts Brazil Nut Body Lotion - Lush Lush Lush is all I can say. This is in Boots for £5.25. Its really moisturising and smells divine!

4. Blink + Go Long Lasting Black Mascara- I was lucky enough to receive this in a Glossybox. This is a fabulous mascara, one of the best I have ever used. It really separates the lashes and lengthens at the same time. I think I like this better than Benefit "They're Real". You can purchase this mascara for £12.95 here

5. 17 "Photo Flawless" Skin Primer - This primer is amaze... Read my review of it here.

What have been your favourites this month? Have you used any of the above? Comment below :)

17 Photo Flawless Skin Primer Review

I have a bit of a confession to make. I am a bit of a make up snob and will spend my money on high end + top brand bits. I somehow had it in my head that buying drug store products weren't as good quality or wouldn't last as long. But recently I've started to become less of a snob and all because of one little product....

This is the "Photo Flawless Skin Primer" from the 17 range in Boots. I bought it in my local store for £4.99 (which gives you 15ml of product). I absolutely ADORE this product. I have used many a primer: Mac Prep + Prime, Chanel, Too Faced but this comes out on top.

It has a clear, gel like consistency which is easy to blend on the face and leaves your face with a soft, smooth + even finish. It leaves a perfect base for foundation. It doesn't sit heavy on the skin and dries matt. I found that my foundation glided on so easily on top (I currently uses Chanel Mat Lumiere), and gave such an even smooth finish with the foundation applied on top.

This lasts ALL DAY. I get quite an oily t-zone which most primers cannot defeat. However, in the day, when i went to feel my t-zone there was hardly any oil/shine and it still felt matt. It also makes my foundation last all day. So many times I have come home from work, thinking what the hell do i look like. But this has really helped my make up last which I have never had success in at all.

I only have one downfall, which is the size of the tube (so petty I know). I feel like I will use this up quite quickly, so wish it came in a larger size tube. I have been using this a couple of weeks now, so depending on how long the tube lasts will depend on whether its worth the fiver each time. However I will be repurchasing for now....

Have you used this? What did you think?

7 Deadly Sins Beauty Tag

Hello Lovelies,
I saw this tag on You Tube and thought it may be fun to post on here....so here goes....my 7 Deadly Sins...

GREED: What is your most inexpensive beauty item? What is your most expensive?

My inexpensive item would be, my Alberto Balsam Shampoo + Conditioners. I think they are roughly around £1.99 each, and are the best hair care products I have used! They come in different scents and for different hair types and I have never had any problems using them. I usually pick them up in Boots.
My most expensive item would be my Chanel, Mat Lumiere foundation costing around £36. This has been my most favourite foundation for around the past 3-4 months. I really like the matte, evenly smooth finish. The colour is perfect. Its perfect for my oily/combination skin type. Such a shame its being discontinued!

WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with? What product has been the hardest to get?

The product I have a love/hate relationship with is Mac's Studio Fix Foundation. Some days it goes on great on my skin. Other days it can look really orange, not blend evenly and look cakey. Not sure if its because i have the wrong shade or applying it badly? hmmm....
The product that has been the most hardest to get, was my Urban Decay Naked Palette (1) when it first came out. I remember I could not get it anywhere, for a good few months, then one day I walked into Boots....there was 1 left!!

GLUTTONY: What are your most delicious beauty products?

My most delicious beauty product is Boots Extracts, Brazil Nut Body Lotion. This smells divine!

SLOTH: What beauty product do you neglect, due to laziness?

This would be my tweezers or anything related to general eyebrow up keep! I let them get to such an awful state before maintaining them....I need to get my self into some kind of mini routine everyday so that this never happens!

PRIDE: What beauty product gives you the most self confidence?

I would say a foundation. Simply because it can hide any imperfections that I may be feeling a little self conscious about.

LUST: What attributes do you find most attractive in the opposite sex?

Ok, this is a very strange beauty question ?! Um, I would say a dazzling smile, a sense of humour, a cheeky personality but with a caring streak. TATTOOS!

ENVY: What items would you most like to receive as a gift?

Oh my, the list is endless! But I would say....Chanel Bronze Universal, Chanel No5 Perfume, Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette or a YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick.

TAG! Your IT.....what would be your answers?

Cheeky Little Haul...

After work on Friday, I popped to my local shopping centre. My main reason of going was to get a birthday present for my friends daughter, however I got a little distracted and picked up the following .....

These BEAUT pair of shoes I have wanted since before Xmas. But because of all the present buying, I didn't really have any money to spend on myself. Then yesterday, I went into New Look, and they were the LAST pair in MY SIZE. It was fate. I had to get them, and they only set me back £25. Which i think is pretty reasonable for a pair of shoes. I absolutely love them and I think they will look perfect with a pair of black skinny jeans.

This is found in Warehouse. Its a pink lace, 3/4 length sleeved top. I thought it was super cute and especially liked the gold zip detail on the back. This top was a bargain...originally £30...down to £20...down to £15, so I got it for half price. I love the girlieness of the top with the pink + the lace, it will be perfect for spring.

Ahhh, my saviour. This St Tropez Bronzing Mousse is my favourite fake tan ever. I use to use Fake Bake Beyond Bronze, but it just left me an orange umpa loompa! This however is so easy to apply, doesn't smell, hardly streaks and is natural looking. I picked this up in Boots, this is the 120ml for £20.49.

Last, but not least I picked up another sale item. This pair of feather earrings are from Miss Selfridge. They were originally £7.00 but were down to half price....bargain!

What bargains have you picked up recently?
